Winter Gardens podcast series launches
A podcast series, exploring the past, present and future of the Morecambe Winter Gardens has been created featuring many of the voices of those who have helped the theatre develop for the future.
Featuring interviews with volunteers, performers, trustees and some of the tradespeople helping to restore and rejuvenate this iconic venue.
Recorded in and around the Winter Gardens, and showcasing a soundscape made with field recordings of the building and it’s surroundings, the series was narrated by long time volunteer Janet Downey. Produced by Kitty Turner I scripted and recorded interviews for the series which was created over 18 months.
Volunteer Jan Downey agreed to narrate the series.
