Nigel Thompson
My journalism career began more than 30 years ago on the Morecambe Visitor newspaper and since then, it has taken me across the UK, from local newsrooms to national broadcasting.
Today, I continue to work as a journalist, building on years spent producing programmes for BBC Radio 4, award-winning experience as a BBC health correspondent and decades spent telling stories that inform, engage and connect with audiences.
But I’m not just a journalist.
As a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, I combine editorial expertise with strategic communication skills to help people and organisations tell their stories more effectively.
Whether you need a presenter, producer, interviewer, voiceover, media coach or podcast partner, I bring a calm, authoritative and reassuring approach to every project. I can help shape scripts, improve delivery, coach contributors and help people find the confidence to tell their stories well.
I’ve worked with organisations, academics, businesses and individuals to create content that audiences remember — and I’d love to explore how I can help you too.
Based in Morecambe Bay and happy to travel widely, I look forward to hearing your story.
I look forward to working with you!
