With more than 30 years experience in journalism, broadcasting and strategic communications, I've spent my career helping people and organisations tell stories that inform, engage and inspire.

The Morecambe Visitor newspaper provided the springboard that started me off and I have worked from news outlets across the UK and onto national broadcasting. I still make programmes for broadcasters and am a practising journalist using multi media methods to tell stories for a variety of audiences. I’ve presented and produced programmes for BBC Radio 4, 5 Live and BBC local radio from features at home and abroad to hard-hitting documentaries and award-winning investigations.

Alongside journalism, I'm a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (Chart.PR), combining editorial expertise with strategic communications to help businesses, charities, public sector organisations, universities and individuals communicate with clarity, confidence and impact.

Throughout my career, I've worked with leading organisations, academics, healthcare professionals, businesses and community groups to turn complex ideas into engaging, accessible stories that people remember.

Based around the Morecambe Bay area and working with clients across Lancashire, Cumbria, Yorkshire and the wider UK, I'm always interested in new collaborations.
