Northern Lights podcast reaches new heights
Some of the guests to have appeared on the Northern Lights podcast.
A podcast series launched just a few months ago is rapidly gaining new listeners and not just in the area it serves!
Northern Lights was launched last summer for Barrnon Media’s Business Crack as a companion to the fast-growing digital news website. Guests are Cumbrian-based businesses and the podcast ‘aims to shine a light’ on some of those who maybe go under the radar when it comes to news.
In a first, the podcast recorded an ‘as live’ podcast Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster’s annual awards and also recorded deep beneath Cumbria at Honister slate mine.
The most recent podcast was an in depth conversation with the man chairing the ambitious project to regenerate Barrow in Furness. Lord Case from Team Barrow spoke candidly about the challenges faced and used the podcast as an opportunity to call on residents to support the initiative.
I’m delighted to host and produce Northern Lights for Business Crack and look forward to many more editions to come.
