Media training academics across the north

One of the things I most enjoy is being able to share my experience as a working journalist with academics at universities to help them tell their stories.

There is a wealth of expertise to be found across the north and working with Cumbria, Lancaster and Leeds has only confirmed this.

Leeds is home to a world famous university where I have been delighted to offer media training to a range of academics.

In the fast moving world of news, knowing how to pitch story ideas and react to incoming requests for comment is key.

As a former university manager and still working as a journalist I’m able to share experiences and explain how media, PR and academia can come together.

I love helping people tell their stories and working with those for whom their work is often their passion means both journalists and universities can benefit.
