Lancaster University - The Cyber Briefing

Because the field of cyber spans so many areas of work I interviewed half a dozen academics to create ‘The Cyber Briefing’ a range of 15-20 min long programmes which creatively offered an insight into the world of cyber.

Launched during the pandemic it’s grown in popularity with more and more discovering the podcast that’s all about the Bay.

NHS Innovation Collaborative podcasts were recorded either on location all over England enabling patients as well as staff to tell their stories or remotely to allow senior leaders the chance to take part.

This was the university’s first experiment with podcasts and I was delighted to record, edit and present a series which highlighted the varied research underway within the university.

Lancaster University is rightly highly ranked in the world of research but the university was keen to highlight those involved a wide area of ground-breaking studies. By using podcasts the passion and conviction of academics involved in medicine, geography, sociology and more came across loud and clear.
